Hello, I want to know more about LVEF. What is this and it is 40% for ny father and as I have checked, it should be around 55-75%. Please help me with the causes and solutions to make right.

He has ischemic heart disease and has had a heart attack which has caused this EF to go down. He needs to undergo coronary angiography to decide further treatment as soon as possible

It's due blockage in the blood vessel supplying heart. Hope your cardiologist advised the medicines and need for Coronary Angiographyngiography.
