Lupus and hypothyroidism
I have a SLE Lupus from 2010 also hypo thyroid and recently flare up, so would like to know what about the food restrictions for both illness.

Hi! change your lifestyle pattern, take a balanced diet including nuts and seeds also add eggs, fish etc. avoid cruciferous and fast, junk food items.

Healthy afternoon, People with lupus should aim for well balanced diet that includes plenty of fruits and vegetables and whole grains. It should also include moderate amounts of meats , poultry and oily fish Add in diet reduce inflammation and other symptoms Includes fatty fish, nuts and ground flaxseed Oil like olive and canola. Avoid Fried foods Commercial baked goods Creamy soups and sauces Red meat Animal fat Processed meats High dairy like whole milk, cream, cheese , butter, ice cream.
Health Tips
Eating food high in calcium and vitamin D is important for bone health. Lupus may associates with unhealthy weight loss and weight gain. So eating to achieve a healthy weight is important.

Good noon anti Inflammatory foods to include mostly present in green veggies low carb foods like millets or brown rice ,nuts n seeds,fish like salmon or tuna,low fat milk or milk products, gluten free foods to be included.
