Lump near anus
I’ve noticed a small lump located in the midline just above the anus (between the buttocks). It’s been there for about 24hours and feels painful — like a pulling/stretchy discomfort — especially when I sit or bend. There is no redness, swelling, discharge, or fever. The lump is soft to firm, not hot to touch.

It's good that there's no redness, swelling, fever, or discharge at present — that helps rule out some urgent infections. However, since the area is still tender and you're experiencing discomfort, I would advise a physical examination to assess the nature of the lump — whether it's skin-related, soft tissue, or something deeper. Early evaluation is helpful in such cases to prevent progression, even if it currently seems mild.
