Hello.
If there was a decay in the teeth, then it could be a reaction because of that, which has caused the swelling of the gum.
Since you have mentioned that the cheek has swollen, may be there is infection.
You will require to be checked by a dentist, after which appropriate treatment can be suggested.
Visit your dentist at the earliest.
