Lumateperone insomnia
I started lumateperone 3 days back and it's giving me really bad insomnia. I'm taking it at bedtime. Would taking it early at 6 pm help?

Lumateperone can rarely cause insomnia for some people initially.it usually settles in on for two weeks but please consult psychiatrist to see if it can be switched to morning.They will also assess for other side effects like akathisia or changes in the illness which could result in insomnia

Generally Lumateperone does not cause insomnia. Rather it causes sedation. Insomnia might be due to some other factor such as any other medication.
