I have been having lower back pain after waking up in the morning for the last 2 months. But yesterday, the pain shot up and it is so extreme that I cannot get up from bed, walk, bend forward or backward or even sit. As soon as I try to do these activities, there is a severe pain from my lower back till my ankles. I am under pain medication but the pain is not going away. I am almost immobile.

Your prolonged sitting and sitting poorly is the reason for your back plus butt muscles to become so stiff. The more you are inactive the more you will be in trouble.
