I had an episode of colitis during June 2016, got cured with antibiotic treatment. Following the same, with an interval of 2 -3 months, I am having lower abdominal discomfort with lose motion. Suffers from gas formation, following food intake.

Main cause of the lower abdominal discomfort with loose motions usually is consuming Apathya aahar(incompatible food),like Ushan-sheet,back to back ,milk with curd and green vegetables,drinking water while having fruits.Areated drinks ,consuming food without chewing properly which leads to indigestion and causes gas problem and patient feel discomfort and fullness..So avoid all above causes.But additionally U can take Kutajghanwati 2 tablet twice a day.But for proper treatment visit an Ayurvedic doctor.

U r 52 now .2 yrs back history and cure from Colitis is there.Antibiotics kill bad as well as good bacteria.Bacteria which helps digestion dies because of antibiotics.Also internal wall also get affected by antibiotics.
By Ayurveda medicines and Basti treatment will do best for this condition.
