  4. Low vision. Very close to his eyes!

My husband is not able to see things clearly he is not able to see things when the light is dull and he is also low in distant vision he reads books keeping very close to his eyes

Most common cause would be spectacle power.. just get it checked with eye specialist who would also see your retina to rule out any other problems..
