Low platelet count- ITP?
I have platelet count in between 25000 to 35000 only. I was in medical industry earlier. Done all the test like blood, Us scan except bone marrow test. All are normal. I don't have any issues with this abnormal count. But some times there was  small bleeding patches on my thies. I met doctors in HCG cancer hospitals, BangaloreBy seeing my reports they are suspecting as ITP? Bone marrow to be done. Hence not confirmed as ITP?. My question is 1. Is bone marrow test required? Which test, name please. 2. Is there any treatment other than steroids? 3. Life risk because of internal bleeding? 4. Suggest me doctor who is not commercial. 5. Can I go for gym?

Hello.. it’s always better to rule out all possibilities and find out the cause. If by normal life you are having subcutaneous bleeding then by gymming you will have more. Can you share a patch pic. If it’s ITP then SLE tk need to be ruled out. So get yourself examined and then proceed
