Low Lying Placenta
Hello Doctor, My wife is in 4th month of pregnancy and placenta is low lying lower margin is 2.4 cm away from the cervix. Could you please let me know whether there will be any complications because of this.

It is to early for comment on placenta previa, it is seen in many cases..  But as the gestation age increase placenta moves in upward direction.. At present don't worry..  But close followup should be maintain For detail consultation connect with me online and we will discuss issues further..

In early pregnancy low lying placenta is seen in many pregnancies but in most of the cases it moves up, but if it’s persistent low lying or placenta praevia in later scans then it is of concern and u can discuss with ur doctor in detail.
