Low lying placenta at 14 week, 1.5 cm.
Hi Doctor, I observed mild bleeding at 14 week of pregnancy, scan showed placenta at 1.8 cm and 4 days later scan shows it moved to 2.4 cm. I was hospitalised for 5 days and given trapic 650, susten 200 for bleeding control. As placenta is generally low lying at 14 week and bleeding is common was hospitalisation necessary? Also advice on bed rest!

Generally it is not lowlying...but it migrated upwards as pregnancy advance.....in case of bleeding it is necessary to hospitalised & strict bed rest.
