Low hemoglobin
I tested cbc mid January Result came out My hemoglobin 7.5 Then take medicine for 1 month Then don't take Now I take medicine(iron peels) for 1 month And hemoglobin 10 What's is reason for low hemoglobin? Is anything serious Please recommend me or advice me how to improve hemoglobin

Before starting the medication ,did you had a detail investigations done if not then Kindly do - iron studies , hb electrophoresis , vit B12 and pheripheral blood smear reporting done and revert back with its report.

Your low hemoglobin is most likely due to iron deficiency, not something very serious, but you must continue iron therapy and check the cause. A repeat CBC and iron studies after 2–3 months is advisable. Continue iron tablets regularly for at least 3–6 months (even after hemoglobin becomes normal) to build iron stores. Eat iron-rich foods: green leafy vegetables, jaggery, dates, pomegranate, beans, meat, liver, fish, eggs. Take vitamin C (like lemon, orange) along with iron for better absorption. Avoid tea/coffee with meals (they reduce iron absorption). If you have heavy periods, blood in stools, persistent tiredness, or dizziness, consult a doctor for further evaluation.
