Low esteem, body dimorphia
This is regarding my brother , he is been a cheerful and jolly throughout his life. But since last 5-6 months(after lockdown) he spent lot of time with his phone and suddenly started having low mood, disrupt sleep and inferior complex. He is having few 3-5 chickenpox small pit holes on his forehead, that are not even visible unless you focus on them. He never cared about it, but suddenly after 10-12 years he has been processed about it, he thinks he looks bad or he has something incomplete. Strange part is no one ever taunted him. He saw some youtube video involving skin peeling therapy but anguished regarding side effects. overall body is lean and fit. Don’t know how he developed that guilt and how to get over it. Its been 6 months, he hasn't slept well. Local psychiatrist prescribed nexito plus 10 full at night and 1/2 morning. Is it right Dosage? or lower (nexito5) given first? He haven't started taking medicine want to be sure before taking. What is starting dose? duration?

The dose prescribed by the concerned doctor seems reasonable given the severity and the chronic distress.
Minimum effective dose of said medicine is 10mg. Your doctor weighs all the pros and cons before prescribing so please be hopeful.
You will be advised to take the medication for about 6 to 9 months more or less. However, you should see a difference in the first few weeks.
I strongly advise you to start the medication at the earliest so the quality of life is restored.

The medication and it's dose is rightly prescribed. Nexito plus is combination of antidepressant escitalopram 5mg and sedative/anti-anxiety clonazepam 0.5mg. Kindly start taking the prescribed dose of drug.
From watever information you have provided, it seems like your brother might need atleast 10mg of escitalopram for his depression.

if you are feeling excessive drowsiness during day, it can be due to clonazepam. then you can take plain escitalopram, than the combination with clonazepam in the morning
