Low appetite and frequent stools
My daughter is 2 years and 2 months.. She has been eating less food of late and passes normal stools after every meal. Can I give her sorbiline tonic as that was recommended by the pharmacist to induce hunger and increase appetite?

Kids appetites take a dip in the summers due to the heat. Introduce new food items, prefer giving more liquids and semisolids, like juices, milkshakes, soups. Even then if your child doesn't accept food, kindly consult your pediatrician. Do not rely on pharmacist's opinion. There is a reason he is just a pharmacist and not a doctor

Sorbitol is given for hepatic failure cases. To increase appetite iron supplements you can use. Ask your pediatrician for proper diet chart and other supplements. For your baby's sake please don't start anything advised by your pharmacist or google.
