Low Amniotic Fluid Index
I am 26 weeks pregnant and my Amniotic Fluid Index is 11. My doctor says this is just adequate. But I am worried. Will this cause a problem? I also have a slightly thickened placenta. However all other parameters for me and the baby are normal. My doctor has prescribed Arginine twice daily. Is this enough? What else should I do? Can this cause pre term birth! If so what will be the effect on baby?
