Lost voice for 2 days
I lost my voice while suddenly waking up from a short deep nap. I had an upset stomach and signs of indigestion on the previous day night and was too late to sleep (sleeplessness is usual for me). Now it has been 2 days yet the problem is not resolved. It's for the first time in my life I'm losing voice for such a prolonged time. Will it resolve on its own? Should I wait for a few more days or consult an ENT or primary care provider? Plz give your valuable advice.🙏 If this concerns, here's a brief medical history of mine. * I have sleeplessness and day time fatigue for more than past 10 years. * A few years ago diagnosed with deviated nasal septum. * Underwent septoplasty 1 year ago. * No improvement in breathing even after surgery. * Trouble breathing while sitting and slightly while laying flat. * It feels much better while engaging in exercises or other intense tasks. * Difficulty to stay focused and energetic while sitting idle.
