My son is suffering from either this ongoing viral influenza or some gastric issues. He was having fever, mild cough, body pain near arms, stomach pain, vomiting, loose motions and body weakness. I have put him on medication like Ondem, paracetamol, meftal spas, meftagesic ds syrup, ofm suspension through doctor prescription. I just want to confirm the diet that I should give to him. He is not eating anything. Can I give him milk products like paneer, curd and ghee or what should I avoid.
Among dals, is moong dal ok to be given? I am trying my best to make it interesting for him to eat.

Soft, non spicy diet
In small frequent proportions you can give
If loose motion is present ,milk and high roughage diet can be avoided temporarily
But Make sure hydration and urine output remains fine..At any point of time child is not tolerating food or becoming dull or having less urine output admission may be needed.
