Loose motion for over five months
There is a patient who is been suffering from continuous loose motion since past six months. She is 22 years of age and her physical body has become very weak. She is hospitalised and doctors are not able to identify the problem. Any suggestions.

Loose motions can be due to ulcerative colitis or irritable bowel syndrome, malabsorption syndrome, amoebiasis. You can take homeopathic medicines for the same. But it needs deatiled case history. So will advise you to consult homeopathic physician. Also maintain good hydration of her with fluid intake, proper personal and food hyigene. Avoid outside food, chilly, spicy food. Give her bland diet, soup, fruit juice only.

Since she is hospitalized her hydration and nutrition must be taken care of. Secondly if drs are unable to figure out then most common causes must have been checked. Other possible causes are
- malabsorption syndrome diarrhea due to impaired digestion
- rare or drug resistant infection
- diarrhea due to abuse of antibiotics or laxatives
- diarrhea due to hormonal disorder or tumor
- stress anxiety and other psychological states too can cause chronic diarrhea
