Lipoma Cause and Treatment.

Asked for Male, 32 Years

I have been told by a doctor once that the tumor like lumps under my skin are called lipoma, I have couple of them under my right hand and I have recently seen some(3-4) developed over the lower back area. What are the causes? What are the remedies?Which doctor to consult- dermatologist? For better diagnosis and remediation? Is treatment required or can be left as it is ,as it is not painful? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Rahul Gupta
