Lipid profile and liver function test
I got full body checkup done for my mother. Age - 50 years Post covid, Steroids induced diabetes and taking metformin 500 twice since May 20. Fasting sugar value is 118. Her lipid profile is deranged. Cholesterol - 208 Triglycerides - 234 Ldl - 124 Hdl - 37 Vldl - 46 Non hdl - 172. Liver function test shows Sgpt - 40 ALP - 113 I want to know if these numbers and worrisome and she needs medicines for the same. 3 month ago in full body checkup almost same values came only triglycerides was 177 that time. Please suggest next plan of action. Thanks.
