My wife is seeing a line like thing in her right eye,(not always once or twice in a month) this Issue is there since her childhood. Is it serious issue or due to overheat(our grand parents are saying).

Hello I can understand your concern but it is very difficult to comment without examining her I would recommend you to consult local Ophthalmologist and get proper retina examination done Regards
