I have a skin tag on my bottom eyelid right on the eye lash line. It's not very and is hardly visible, but when I blink it rubs against my pupil and is very uncomfortable. I am worried about using OTC skin tag remover because I don't want to get any into my eye. How damaging would it be to my eye if I attempted this? What other methods to remove it are there? About how expensive would the procedure be if I did need to see a doctor for it (assuming that insurance does not cover it).

Better to consult an ophthalmologist to rule out any foreign body or inward directed eyelash. He can see and remove, in case needed, under magnified view.
