There is a "blood vessel" that sticks out more than my normal vessels and it's been causing a little bit of discomfort and pain. I went to the ER and they told me that it looks like a normal blood vessel and it will go away within a few days. But they discovered I had a scratched cornea since I'm a contact lens user, they have prescribed me Ocuflox for my cornea and the physicians also told me the scratch is not linked with the red line.

If you notice,There is a small modular swelling on the lid margin adjacent to the vessel. And it seems to be localised congestion due to that inflammation.
The remedy is to simply usr antibiotics eye drops 2hrly e.g. moxifloxacin and do cold compresses with ice.
