In our allopathic system no role of honey has been described any where in any textbook, instead you can use some lubricating eye drops (genteal eye drops) 3-4 times to keep eye healthy .There is ltone eye drops marketed by Dey's medical which contains honey as one of the contents but it is ayurvdic product,with regards Dr Arjun kr Singh Patna.

Surprising question. Honey being used to give shade to the eyes , is surprising. I think it doesnt change shade of the eye but makes yr eye wet and comfortable. In place of honey you can use lubricating eye drops for yhe same purpose.
