Light wgts with high reps
Hello doctor, I am an fitness enthusiast and I have started hitting the gym since a couple of months.I have just started lifting weights and there are lots of contradictory articles on weight loss on internet.I just want to know what are the best practices with weights, i reduced from 102 to 92.5 in a span of 3 months and just started lifting weights. Is it advisable to use low weights with hight reps (or ) is it heavy weights with low reps. It would be great if you could please suggest me a diet plan.

Hello,I understand ur concern Low weights with high reps will increase ur endurance whereas high weights and low reps will increase ur strength So,the answer is both start with low weights and high reps then gradually shift to high weights and low reps

follow a protein rich diet as u r just a beginner in lifting weights

aviod any kind of steroids for increasing ur muscle mass  which can cause irreversible damage to ur body.
