Hello Doctor,
I’ve been dealing with extreme light sensitivity for the past few months. Some key symptoms:
Negative afterimages after seeing bright light, especially in the morning. These afterimages last for 10–15 minutes, more visible when I blink.
Bright lights at night, like vehicle headlights, feel very harsh.
Blurriness in vision earlier (especially while looking at the phone), which has slightly improved over time.
I had an eye check-up and was told everything looks normal. One doctor mentioned it could be due to delayed retinal response.
I was advised to use Eyemist Forte eye drops, which I’ve been using 2–3 times a day for about a month, but I’m still experiencing the same light sensitivity and afterimages.
I work in the IT field and use screens for 9–10 hours a day, although I follow the 20-20-20 rule regularly.
Also, I have amblyopia in my left eye since childhood. Please advise: Is there any other way to manage this better while continuing my screen-heavy job.

Photosensitivity is very common now a days especially in person with long screen time. I have suggestions to increase the frequency of eyemist drop to 8-10 times. Use photochromoatic glasses for long time
Give proper time to sleep. Only this thing will help you otherwise you will be doing only doctor shopping and everywhere you will have same response.
please cont. the drops as advised.
