Light brown vertical line on ring finger

Asked for Male, 25 Years

I have a light brown vertical line on my left ring finger I am not sure how long it was there, but for two weeks I have been observing it carefully its not expanding or darkening. I also checked it out with a dermatologist but she didn't looked it carefully and said its nothing to worry about. Should I take it seriously or not ?
