Lichus plenum on scrotum
Have Lichus plenum on scrotum since last 2-3 years. No itching, pus or irritation.
However the pimples are dried and visible.
The doctor i consulted earlier said it is not serious and can be cured by applying Vaseline.

In most patients having lichen planus, the disease is self limiting and heals with time. However the lesions leave behind dark spots which can take months to even a couple of years to go. As the pigmentation is in the deeper layers of the skin, many times no creams work ( for dark spots ). Vaseline is safe to apply. Trust your doctor and visit him/her if there is a recurrence of lichen planus in future.
