You have had discharge from your ear that means your tympanic membrane is not intact.
Which is clearly causing the conductive hearing loss.
The operation would be to repair the tympanic membrane.
So yes, the operation is necessary.
But to get it done or not is completely upto you and we aren't responsible for anything.
