Leg cramps in the third trimester
Hello Doc I m in my third trimester and I hv been getting leg cramps every alternate morning can I take magnesium supplements ? Is it safe for the baby

Magnesium supplements are good throughout all the three trimesters, more so in 3rd trimester because it has a role to prevent pregnancy induced hypertension and also growth retardation of foetus. So it should be taken. We have Calcium tablets with Magnesium, Zinc and Vit D.

Yes u can R u taking calcium supplements regularly Get ur vit b12 n vit d levels checked The deficiency cud be a reason
