Left vocal cord palsy
History of allergy Cough from 4-5 years. Lost voice from 15 days. Doc internally said it could be laryngitis,(Just on physical examination)Still wasn't better so did laryngoscopy. And Ct scan.result is left vocal cord palsy, I wanted to knw with steroids and exercise how fast and how much percent recovery can be expected?also is this dangerous for life?

It is usually idiopathic vocal cords palsy. CT skull base to thorax to rule out pressure in the distribution of the nerve. It takes three months for spontaneous recovery. Not life threatening.
