Most likely cause of left median neuropathy here may be entrapment and chronic compression within the wrist.  Please be examined by neurosurgeon or a hand surgeon(ortho) to confirm diagnosis of carpal tunnel syndrome or if any and treat accordingly. Some patients may need a small surgery if symptoms are severe and not improving with medication. For other symptoms..MRi cervical cervical spine can be done to know the status of spondylosis or any spinal cord issues.
Next Steps
consult neuro surgeon or  hand surgeon (orthopedic)
