Hi doctor, i'm suffering hand pain from last one week.i'm not able to turn my wrist if i do i feel extreme pain on my wrist joint..i dont feel any swelling over my wrist bt d whole left hand with shoulder i feel pain.

Wrist pain can be due to a variety of reasons. Depending on whether the pain is on the outer aspect of the wrist near the thumb or over the region near the little finger or in the centre, the cause can vary.

Please send a photo of the painful wrist and point out the region where the pain is felt maximum for me to be able to help you out better.
Wrist pain might be due to some local strain in wrist muscles.. If the pain is radiating towards the shoulder region as well, there is a possibility of some neurological involvement with origin from the cervical region.
