If you could point out the exact location of pain in the foot, would give me a better insight. Do you have the pain on first step after you wake up in the morning ? Any history of injury ?
Next Steps
Clinical examination.

Sometimes there is a possibility of soft tissue inflammation towards the base of heel, a condition called plantar fasciitis. This may happen in people who have to stand or walk for a long time.
Next Steps
You can start with hot and cold fomentation,  take analgesic with anti inflammatory medicine,  start ankle movement exercises,  use soft sole footwear while walking even at home.
Health Tips
Avoid walking barefoot, avoid standing for long time..
