LDL and Triglycerides level
I have lost around 15kgs of weight over 6 months - using a low carbohydrates, high fat diet and now BMI is 25. My LDL cholesterol though increased compared to last year, where it was 100 - but now 140. HDL has increased from 45 to 53, Triglycerides reduced from 130 to 92. Why has LDL increased whereas both other elements have shown improvement? Should I be worried, my dietician seems to think it is temporary.

Hello, Depends on what diet you followed for weight reduction. At your age doesnt need any medicines but follow low fat diet and high fiber diet if you want LDL to be low. Take care.  Stay safe.  Have a great day
