Late Periods
Hi doctor, My friend is 17 years old and she hasn't started with her periods for this month yet its 24th of February and her last month's period were from 19th jan to 25th jan. can you suggest why is this happening she didnt even any sexual contact from anyone she is all pure she dont take any contraceptives. Please help. Thanks.

Wait for one more week. If still no periods, take Crina NCR 15 mg once daily after food for 5 days to get periods. If problem recurrs get thyroid levels checked and an ultrasound scan done.

If no history of sexual contact then no need to worry. A delay of 7 days considered normal only. Sometimes stress,fever,travel etc is the reason for delayed periods. Consult if doesn't get her periods by 26 th

Get ultrasound scan done.Thyroid test. She can take medicine to induce her period ..consult online for prescription. .
