Unaided vision of 6/9 in both eyes is considered to be fairly good and should cause no trouble.
However the eyes should be examined by the eye specialist routinely and reviewed for any other issues like a residual refractive error or dryness, most of which can be very well managed.
Next Steps
Continue reviewing with your LASIK surgeon at regular intervals.
Your friend needs to be evaluated in detail by an ophthalmologist. The pre operative vision with glasses, any other problem with optic nerve / retina plays a role in the final visual outcome.
Next Steps
Visit an ophthalmologist to rule out any problem needing treatment
Yes. It can be normal. But only if we can check him for any other problem such as
1. Dry eyes.
2. Lazy eye
3. Any remaining power of glass.
4. Complete eye examination
5 . Retina check up.
If everything is ok. Then there is no need to worry.
Next Steps
Your friend should get his eyes checked by an Eye doctor
