Hello Doctors,
My son is having severe night time dry cough. This is going on for nearly 2 months. Recent diagnosis showing he has irritated esophagus and it is Laryngopharyngeal reflux . Doctors prescribed Omeprazole and dietary changes and said it may take up to one month to see some difference. One month leaving a kid coughing all night makes me worried. Is there any other medication or treatment to get better with cough and LPR symptoms? Please suggest.
Other medication history he was continuously on 3 full antibiotics courses in 2 months. Amoxicillin 10 days, 1 week break another amoxicillin 10 days,5 days erithromyzin ,10 days amoxicillin and clavunate.
Thanks
Anitha
