Ask your doctor or pharmacist for lactose-free medicines whenever possible.Lactase enzyme tablets (like Lactaid or Yamoo) can be tried if you must take a lactose-containing tablet, but they may not work for everyone. If gas and bloating are very severe, you may need further check-up to rule out other stomach problems like IBS .
Next Steps
Capsules, syrups, injections, or sachets usually do not contain lactose and are better options.
