Asked for Male, 1 Years

Am struggling to breast feed my 4 month baby as he only drink milk while he is sleeping. This started when he was 3 months old and he refused to take milk while aware/conscious, although he is hungry. I have tried to cuddle him while s but none of it work. I have no choice so every time when is time to feed, I need to cuddle him until he is drowsy.Have you came across any baby that refused to take milk? Is my baby sick/has he got underlying health problem which are causing pain while drinking, ie throat / stomach discomfort? He just pushes nipple out with tongue and cries if awake .

Very unlikely that baby is doing so.We need to check for any local mouth problems and also assess while the baby is feeding and otherwise also. And also whether baby is gaining weight and if there are any signs of illness
