Hello Dear, Sometimes some people take time to adjust to new surroundings. Even change of bedding and rooms cause a problem falling asleep for some people. She can try drinking Luke warm milk half an hour before going to bed. This calms the senses and helps in falling asleep. She can also perform meditation for atleast 15 minutes before going to bed. Avoid taking any heavy meal for dinner and also any stimulants before going to bed. I would however recommend sedative if everything else fails.
