Labour Induction at 38 week 3 days
3weeks back my sugar test was at borderline at 144. I am not having any labour pains yet but doctor said to go for induced labour tomorrow due to sugar level Is it safe to have induction? Can I deliver normally after this? After how much time after induction delivery happens? or should I wait for normal pain to start

You haven't mention 144 is fasting; random or postprandial sugar In babies of diabetic mothers the lung maturity appears delayed You should go for induction of labour only if fasting sugar are more than 100 and post lunch sugars are more than 160 Unsafe to go for induction of labour if everything else is normal before 38 weeks The chances of normal delivery how much time it is going to take following induction will depend upon the bishop score That is pervaginal findings
