L5-S1 disc slip grade 1
Hello, I've a disc slip recently as I jogged heavily and I'm undergoing spine extension physiotherapy. The pain is gradually reducing and I weigh over 90Kg with 5'7" height. I want to learn martial arts and also move into police job. I need advice for future. If I maintain my ideal weight for my height and also keep my core strong, what are the chances of disc slip in future? I'm in a critical point of time where I've to make an informed decision. Please help.

If you follow the right instructions and do your exercises properly, you will definitely be able to join police force or for that matter anything else. The chances of recurring disc problems are same as for the general population. If you make proper precautions, hopefully you will lead a normal life like anyone else.
