L1 compression fracture
I suffered from L1 compression # two weeks ago. The doctor i consulted gave me heavy dose of painkillers which affected my kidneys so i was asked to stop all the painkillers. Now my pain is returning slowly.And even oj taking turns i have painful spasms. What should i do? Pls suggestions

* Rule out Neurology involvement & Unstable spine because that will decide wether to conserve or operate. * if conservative option is valid Rest with pain killers and muscle relaxants may help * Taylers brace can be used * ice packs If failed conservative treatment then consult near by spine surgeon / Orthopaedic Surgeon and decide accordingly
