L hand Wrist pain
From last 4 months My wife's L hand some unwanted pain only at the thumb side without any major reason .. already consultanted to orthopaedic doctor they have given some medications and a thumb rest kit to wear but only 40% relief ..thay said if this doesn't work we will give you an electric shock treatment at the place of pain ..I want to know about this treatment .. what this treatment called and is it related to physiotherapy TENS or something else.. kindly help me to understand this treatment what doctor was talking about.. thanks..

In my opinion tens is not ideal for this thumb pain, and 40 percentage relief is good, so no need of any drastic therapy now, medication can help
