Knee swelling and pain
So there is swelling in my mother's knee since like 3 months. Sometimes it swells up, and sometimes swelling reduces. For example if any external force is applied on knee it will swell up and pain. After few days swelling goes down. What could be the reason?

It could be arthritis. There are several causes but osteoarthritis would be the most likely. She would require clinical examination, X-ray and maybe blood tests.
