Hello, After surgery there are high chances of DVT, deep vein thrombosis in your calf region of that leg which will cause swelling and Pain. This needs to be ruled out by your doctor, because it will cause some serious issues. If this condition is ruled out by your doctor then she will recover from that swelling and Pain, all she needed is physiotherapy.
