Knee Replacement
My mother is suffering from severe arthritis since past many years..the condition has got worse in past 5 years..she literally drags herself to cover even a distance of 200-250 meters..can not climb stairs..doctors are suggesting for knee replacement for one knee..kindly suggest me the risk involved.. Should I go ahead

if the knee pain affecting your mother's routine activities and no improvement with medicines then she should undergo knee replacement one knee or both knees at time..if your mother has no medical illness then though she is aged,risk factor is quite less..a week done surgery is the key to success..and your mother can spend rest of her life pain free ..if possible upload her knee xray..
