Knee pain , walking issue
Acute pain in knees for past 6 months , not able to sleep properly , undergone physio treatment , not proper relief .Not able to walk freely .Needs support , Fallen several times in recent past .Need urgent attention , please advise proper Physio in Barasat & near by area and proper bone specialist (Orthopedic) phone , dispensary address , timings , fees ,Can knee replacement operation can be carried out at this age , frail & week body structure .

Advice... Avoid sitting Cross legged. Avoid Squatting- Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports Taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area Contrast Fomentation (Hot and Cold).

With physio do quadriceps exercise and strength exercise of knee . Put a towel roll under knee and Press for 10sec then release repeat 10 time

Most probable cause at this age is osteoarthritis... It's a degenerative bone disease...There’s no cure for osteoarthritis as yet, but there are a number of treatments that can help ease symptoms and reduce the chances arthritis becoming worse...options are analgesics, NSAIDs,intraosseous steroid injection and hyaluronic acid injections,Physiotherapy like strengthening exercises etc ... Treatment depends upon the stage...I would suggest you to consult nearest orthopedic surgeon they will do the needful.

Hello dear...chronic knee pain takes time to rehab so please strat physiotherapy for 4 to 5 month with sports physiotherapist...and avoid floor sitting..thanks
