Hi there...you have given very little history. It is difficult to tell what could be the cause. Because there are many causes for knee pain like trauma or injury, osteoarthritis, meniscus injury, ligament injury, dislocation. It will require detailed clinical examination and further investigations including x ray. So kindly consult a orthopedic for further evaluation.
